| This day I spent time to check out the Weaver Lake area in Jennie Lakes. In all the trip was about 7 miles with modest and even elevation gain through that distance. Between Kings Canyon and Sequoia and along highway 180 there is a large section of wilderness that is inaccessible by road other than the 180. It was in this more remote area that I chose to spend time and get to know the area. | ||||
