As you might imagine, there was considerable riff-raff in the Little Yosemite Valley area. 

If you blink, you would miss 'em. 

The night we camped in Little Yosemite Valley, I think we were visited by both mamma and baby bear of the ancient Awahnechee. It was the stoke of midnight. Moonlight was scarce and all was as quiet on the wilderness front. From a drop dead slumber, we hear a call from the tent next to us, "Dave! There's a bear in camp."
