| It's this kind of situation that consistently gives me appreciation for Naturalists, or even those rangers committed to Sierra interpretation. There is so much going on here that it is indeed a design of natural order and beauty. If I were to estimate what was happening here, the creek that runs downward does so along a slope of broken and carved granite slabs that were once underneath the Earth's surface. They have emerged and continue to move and get cut by water. | ||||
