The rappelling we got to do was a lot of fun. To get to this spot was tough though. Our instructor belayed us from up above. The tree you see in this photo was our 

top rope anchor.

Seventh Day: Today we spent more time rock climbing and we were all much more confident. The routes seemed easier to handle. 

 

The photo above shows a rappel descent off of Voyager Dome. The instructor really went out of his way to ensure our safety here. There were many redundant anchors in place to secure our fall even if I was to lose control of my own braking action.
