Up and down we go catching ourselves as we slip and slide. Even while our rain gear got considerably wet, the whole thing was quite entertaining.
It was also eye opening to see our instructors demonstrate these techniques. They made the work look easy, but they were very aggressive and deliberate in their climbing and self arrest techniques. Even with the simplest of moves, they showed a confidence that only comes with experience. |
