This is the snow field where Bob faced a close call with his life. Literally. While three of us were traversing our way across this steep snow field, up above us were loosely held boulders that were ready to give way. After one broke loose from its place it began barreling down towards Bob. If he would have been just 10 paces back the impact of the boulder would have caused serious injuries and would have caused him to fall. It's uncertain how far he would have fallen, but there is a ledge that drops down into the chute just ahead.
