| Here in the Eastern
Sierra, Sierra Club mountaineering students strike out to endure a few
days of the cold. We had it all. High altitude, clear and stormy skies,
strong winds, and darkness. In the midst of this Sierra winter, we were
challenged. For some, beleaguered.
