  It has been said, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." This was to be a day of fire. A day of stress and physical challenge. A test of sorts and I found my limit.

Iron Mountain stood before us with 6000 feet of elevation gain. Eight miles up and eight miles down. The peak sits at 8007' in elevation. With 16 miles of steep trail and cross-country travel, I was headed for an awakening experience.
