Standing Firm

I am reminded of the time when Sir Ernest Shackleton and his men set off in lifeboats within a Winter storm for sixteen days and 900 miles atop the Antarctic seas. All three men were on a mission of survival and rescue for themselves and that of their castaway crew. Stranded by a disabled and crushed expedition vessel, the "Endurance,"  they sailed perilously along those seas only to reach a severe mountain range.
