| When I signed the register it was entirely obvious there were many there before me who were accomplished people of the mountains. There was a Mt Everest veteran who signed the register earlier in the year as well. There was no feeling about these entries. Not a numbness, but just emptiness. All those summits. All those heights. But what stood out was one entry in celebration and gratitude to the God of Heaven and Earth. That brought a smile to my heart. That picked up my spirit. | ||
