| At this point, the sky is completely overcast and you could hear lightning strikes up near the pass. It began to hail and lightning strikes were getting nearer. Intuition told me it was time to turn back and do so without further hesitation. We had to get off that mountain. We had another storm coming our way and if it was like yesterday, it's going to be quite fierce. It just wasn't an option to risk continuing on towards a pass while lightning strikes were in front of us. | ||
