| Snow Nymph on a moderate slope traverse. It's here that I paused and offered a tip about pole placement with a step-by-step climbing progression. The purpose was to demonstrate an appropriate position at all times while on a steep slope. If it became necessary to quickly self belay with a trekking pole, you could do so with the technique I demonstrated. | ||
