| For a while you attempt to gauge where you're at to conserve energy. Yet you're up against a timeline to make both peaks. Since I wasn't familiar with the peaks in the area, it was necessary to resort to the map again in order to determine that I should be on the left side of this gully and pick a line along the ridge to the left. Old Emma is the peak to the right. Mt Emma is on the far right (out of the photo). | ||
