| The trail progresses along a canyon that reaches through Angeles National Forest and Cucamonga Wilderness. While it rises gradually for about two miles the route is well graded and the going is smooth. Afterward, there are several large switch backs up the south slope of Timber mountain leading to Ice House saddle and beyond. | ||
